November 9, 2005 -- The Nominating Committee for the 10th Bishop of Newark has completed a draft profile of the diocese. Clergy and lay members are urged to review the profile and to provide their reactions. To facilitate that, the committee will hold four regional profile response meetings, and a youth session. (See boxes below.) All sites are barrier free.
Following the listening sessions, the committee will finalize the profile to be presented to the Standing Committee and Diocesan Council for approval. Then, the committee will begin accepting nominations for the 10th Bishop of Newark. Your input is important. The committee hopes that everyone can attend one of the listening sessions.
